 Purple haze all in my brain, petunias in a hanging basket, Cilgerran, Wales August 18, 2008 Continuing the things I promised I might possibly tell you about our holiday in Wales: Ade from Howies: I buy most of my clothes from Howies. Reasons. I hate shopping so can order stuff easily over the internet. They make great clothes. I'm boring. Anyway, we were in Cardigan (the home of Howies) wandering around when we spotted the ginger Ade from Howies sitting on a bench just along the road from us. I know of Ade as he once sent me a free pair of jeans after I complained about something. Very kind chap. And he has big ginger hair. Unmistakable. Unmissable. What did we do? Shake his hand? Take a photo? No, being shy and retiring types, we walked straight past. I gave a surreptitious glance to my right to see if he'd noticed I was wearing a tatty pair of Howies jeans, but I don't think he did.
