 rudolph the black and white reindeer December 19, 2007 Two doses of the deadly man-flu in one month has put my festive mood into the coal house. Even a bottle of ale from the Cropton Brewery, a plate of fish and chips, a cup of tea and a glass of red wine hasn't done much to lift my spirits. Humbug. I've just looked at the Cropton Brewery website and it's reminded me of a rather long and grueling cycle ride through the North Yorkshire Moors about five years ago. Ending up at The New Inn, Cropton (they brew the beer round the back), and feeling a little weary, we hastily drank three pints of beer to replace the day's lost fluid. An hour later, and the next thing we knew, the three of us were back on our bicycles, cycling stark bollock naked through the undulating countryside. I'm not sure if it was a side-effect of the beer, but it was certainly an exhilarating experience and one I'd recommend you try. Let's get festive with Rudolph.
