If I have a film to finish I always like to throw a stone up onto the roof and surprise the snoozing birdies. Stamping my foot startles them too. Try as I might, I still don't like them. Now if the roof was covered in chocolate labrador puppies it would be a different matter. I'd be up there in a flash with a sack and take a couple home for the family. Probably sell the rest to caring homes. Adverts in the local paper, newsagents window and so on. Shouldn't be a problem to shift them before Christmas.
