I think I'm getting too fussy, or perhaps it was the build up of excitement that inevitably leads to disappointment, but my photos of the Tour de France are rubbish. I scanned them in last night and they are boring. Blurred and boring. But not Holga blurred in a 'crazy' and 'arty' way, just dull in a dull and boring way. So I don't have to post them and disappoint you too, please can you click back to my last post and imagine some blurred cyclists merging into a dull and distracting background. There, have you done that? Disappointing eh?

This photo isn't a disappointment at all. It was taken by my father-in-law with my little plastic Stellar (a Diana clone) and very good the results are too. Well done my my father-in-law.

I've done it again, written too much in one day and not left time for the main act. The father-in-law Tour story. I've overrun my support slot. I'm off. Sorry.

It's my birthday on the 3rd August. I know that's quite soon, but I think you've probably still got time to get a card in the post.
