![]() old doors, garth park, bicester, england June 11, 2007 Through hail and snow, through scorching midday sun, through bitter, freezing nights. We cycled. We cycled. We cycled. In a cloud of dust, we arrived in Sunderland on Sunday like five desperados. There were no street parades, no dancing girls, no waving children. Just weather worn faces, cracked lips and sweat soaked clothes. I may go into further details, but some tales are better left untold. I did a lot of thinking while cycling up those huge hills. Thinking blocked out the burning pain in my legs. And I've decided that yesterday's post, the third in the series of 'fat people smoking cigarettes' photos will probably be the last. I started to feel a little bit guilty. And then I started to feel a little bit sad. Sad that I've been mean to people who are probably very nice people. So there you have it, a new me. A nice new me.
