![]() old blue caravan, leashaw wood, holloway, derbyshire, england May 15, 2007 I used to spend each afternoon just locked in the confines of my room, because my mother told me that I never should play with the gypsies down in the wood. Then I fell in with a bunch of hoods who go by the name of the Artisans. I'm going to trade in my snakeskin boots, going to trade in my rhinestone suit, because I'm in cahoots with the Artisans, who just happen to be my favourite band. At the best, all the rest are just also rans when compared to the fabulous Artisans. People laugh when I say 'caravan'. Something to do with my northern accident. In my head it sounds the same as everyone else says it, but I've been told it comes out as 'cara-van'. No, I don't really understand what's funny about it either. Do remember my 'name the woman on Southwold beach' competition? Well, I've finally found a suitable prize for the winner, Susan from jojofoto. The best gifts are ones you want to keep and I certainly want to keep this little gem. I don't want to spoil Susan's surprise so I won't tell you what it is just yet.
