 another place number 4 February 18, 2007 I've just been looking through my black and white photos of the recent snow we've had, trying to decide which one to post. But I don't feel like looking at snow, so here's one from last year's visit to 'Another Place' by the artist Anthony Gormley. It was amazing.There are more photos from the series and a bit more information here. It's quite a pleasant day here today so I got up early, donned a pair of sexy black leggings and a thermal top and went out on my bicycle. It's the first time I've been out on it this year and I had a nice 25 mile tootle round the local country lanes. Once a year, myself and a group of friends get together, have a bit of a cycle, stay in a country pub, and feel exhausted the next day. This year, in June, we're going to attempt the coast to coast bike ride (C2C) – from the west coast of England to the east coast. I think it's about 170 miles on cycle paths, tracks and disused railway lines. I really don't want to feel terrible for the three days we think it'll take us, so today my training began. Just got to mention that I've seen my name in the list for The Photobloggies 2007 nominations. I'm shocked, amazed and very flattered. Thanks to anyone who voted for me.
