The Source by Ali Farka Toure and Ry Cooder (from Amy) a little singing bird (very nice to look at, a bit irritating after 5 seconds. Thanks Clare!) Forever England by Liam Bailey (From Amy. We went to Bekonscot Model Village last year and I took some really nice close-ups of the models. This chap has gone and published a book. Buggar.) a buddha machine (a what?! It's a unique 'soundbox' from china. Looks like a cheap little plastic box, but actually produces very soothing, calming loops of sound. Not convinced? Hearing is believing.) a do-it-yourself pinhole camera (thanks Jess and Mik. Look out for some pin-hole magic coming soon) Emma Bridgewater pasta dishes and two mugs (these were Amy's choice and are to share with the family. Very sensible, very pretty, very nice – thanks Mum and Dad) Pack of Ektachrome 64 film (Winston Bumforth-Whitless tries to make amends. Good lad.) a hellbore plant – H. niger (thanks lovely Linda) Man With A Movie Camera [1929] DVD ~ Dziga Vertov (thanks Lauren and John) Amy has just looked at the list and says I am a 'spoilt bastard'. I can only agree. Now then, it's competition time. The first one of 2007. After looking at the list above, I reckon you must have a pretty good idea of what kind of person I am. After all, the presents were bought for me by poeple I know and who know what I like.
